Daily Tour Perge , Aspendos , Side Tour

A journey to the magnificent antique ages from today! We are making an unforgettable trip to Perge, Aspendos, and Side which are accepted as the most valuable ancient ruins of the world.

Once upon a time there lived great civilizations in this region of the world. They have built incredibly beautiful sites and created an incredibly beautiful culture. They created magnificent artifacts as seen from the buildings that were partially collapsed or scattered. When watching these beauties in great astonishment, we ask the following question: how did they do it? Not for this question, but we are waiting for you to see all these beauties. Do not Miss!

This 9-hour excursion starts with a check out to the old city of Perge, a Roman archaeological site. See the amphitheater, stadium, gateways and also city walls.

Continue to Aspendos, known for its Theater of Aspendos, one of the globe’s best-preserved examples of Roman architecture. Every summertime it holds the world prestigious Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival.

After lunch, we’ ll drive to Side. This stunning city is located on a peninsula. You will discover amazing ruins at every corner of Side from the Hellenistic, Roman and also Byzantine periods. The most stunning sight is the Temple of Apollo near the old harbor.

Aspendos

A visit to Aspendos would be a good day trip with very well preserved Roma. Ruins including a stadium, amphitheater, aqueduct, and basilica. The views from the aqueduct are great, some restoration work going on at the amphitheater but still worth the visit – might be hard for people with mobility issues to trek uphill to see.

Perge

Ancient Perge, one of the chief cities of Pamphylia. The city is also known for its local sculptures. On the other hand, the women were very active at the administrative level of the city. This is also emphasized with the fine sculptures of important women such as Platia Magna.

Side
The side is an ancient Greek city on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey, a resort town and one of the best-known classical sites in the country. It lies near Manavgat and the village of Selimiye, 78 km from Antalya) in the province of Antalya. It is located on the eastern part of the Pamphylian coast, which lies about 20 km east of the mouth of the Eurymedon River. Today, as in antiquity, the ancient city is situated on a small north-south peninsula about 1 km long and 400 m across.
